OvertimeIQ is an educational tool. Our communications and outputs are designed to estimate rates under current guidelines and do not constitute formal, licensed legal counsel or certified public accounting (CPA) audits.
What to send
Include the calculator page, state or country, hourly rate, total hours, overtime hours, and any bonus, commission, tip credit, shift differential, or salary detail that affects the result. Screenshots are helpful when you are reporting a display issue.
Corrections we prioritize
We prioritize broken official source links, changed minimum wage rates, state overtime updates, calculation bugs, accessibility problems, and confusing explanations in guides or calculator outputs.
What we cannot do
OvertimeIQ can explain calculator logic and educational wage-rule references, but we do not represent workers or employers, provide legal advice, prepare tax filings, or make final payroll determinations for a specific dispute.
Before you contact support
If your question is about a normal weekly overtime estimate, try the homepage calculator first and include the result URL or inputs in your message. If your question involves California, Colorado, Alaska, Nevada, or another state with daily overtime rules, include the state and the daily schedule. For tipped employees, include the cash wage, tips, and whether the employer claims a tip credit. For salaried employees, include the weekly salary, expected hours, actual hours, and whether the salary is meant to cover only 40 hours or all hours worked.
For source corrections, send the page URL, the outdated statement, and the official source you believe should replace it. We review source updates conservatively because wage rules can vary by date, industry, employer size, local ordinance, and worker classification.
