Unlike many online financial tools, the OvertimeIQ calculator engine operates entirely within your browser's local memory (client-side). When you input your hourly rate, salary, or hours worked, that financial data is processed on your device and is never transmitted to our servers, stored in our databases, or analyzed by third parties.

2. Google AdSense & Third-Party Cookies

To keep our sophisticated overtime calculators 100% free for workers, our platform is monetized via Google AdSense and similar advertising networks.

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to our users based on their visit to our sites and/or other sites on the Internet.
• Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings or by utilizing network opt-out tools at aboutads.info.
• Google AdSense may load advertising scripts globally across our pages so ads can be reviewed and served consistently under Google's publisher requirements.

3. Ahrefs Web Analytics

Ahrefs Web Analytics loads by default on OvertimeIQ. Ahrefs describes Web Analytics as cookie-free, not based on persistent identifiers, and not collecting or storing personal or identifiable data by default.

We use Ahrefs Web Analytics to understand aggregate page performance, referral traffic, browser and device categories, landing pages, possible 404s, outbound link clicks, content quality, and site reliability. We do not use Ahrefs Web Analytics to track your calculator inputs.

4. Optional Google Analytics

Google Analytics is only initialized after you accept Google Analytics in our consent banner. If you decline, we store that preference in your browser and do not start Google Analytics from our app. This optional telemetry is separate from calculator inputs and is used to understand aggregate pageviews and site usage.

5. Essential Browser Storage

We use essential browser storage to run the site, remember your calculator state on your device, and store your optional Google Analytics preference. This storage is separate from Google AdSense advertising choices, which are handled through Google's privacy message where required.

6. California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA)

If you are a resident of California, you hold rights under the CCPA to request disclosure of data collection and deletion of your data. However, because OvertimeIQ does not require accounts or store user PII, we inherently comply with CCPA data-minimization mandates. We do not sell your personal data.
